Large portion for the price paid. Esp the beef ribs. Rib eye is good. And the apple pie/ dumpling thing is a great addition at the end of your meal.
Stopped in today and had the tri-tip sandwich with au jus. It was amazing. Huge serving, and the meat melted in my mouth. The smoky flavor of the tri-tip was delicious. It was well worth the price. Service was nice, and the restaurant dining area and lounge was tidy. I enjoyed my experience
What a wonderful dinner! Had not tried House of Beef before, and it did not disappoint! Took our friend for his 50th birthday. Wow were they busy! Glad I made a reservation! The service was wonderful!!! I enjoyed the shrimp as my appetizer, delicious! The guys had steaks, they were huge and cooked to perfection! I ordered the salmon, perfectly cooked and the sauce was so delicious!! We will be back!
We stopped here on our way coming back from the snow. We felt a little out of place at first, but the hostess & waitresses were very welcoming, and the service was great! We started off with the beer sampler (so good), the jalapeño bean soup was delicious, their garlic bread was so fresh, and the steak was tender and cooked to perfection. We loved the cozy vibe and lights. Oh, and they give big portions! If we're ever in the area, we would for sure stop by again.
Dropped in with a buddy for a quick meal. This place never disappoints. One of the few places in Oakdale I can proudly give 5 stars. My New York steak was perfect, and the chili here is pure fire! I added a salad bar. I have been here a few times these last couple months and their salad bar has always been pretty good, but today it was even better. They added shredded cheese, and quartered the cucumber and tomato slices rather than just slicing them. Best salad bar in town hands down. The wait staff is always amazing. The restaurant is always clean. Thanks for making us feel welcome in your restaurant. You gals really make it happen.
I ordered a standing prime rib for Christmas. There was a little mix up when I got there but it was more on my part. It's because I ordered a 4 bone at first then called and changed it to 3 bone . When I got there they had a 4 bone for me. It was ok because they were quick to fix it. Everyone who worked at House Of Beef was so nice!!!! Super personable and very helpful! Very cute shop. They have a great selection of products to buy . Seasonings, oils, bbq sauces, peppers ,& much much more!! The meat looks really good. I look forward to coming back.
